We are very excited to be moving into our seventh year at Make Mine Pink. Your affiliation with Make Mine Pink will help your business get the kick start it needs to succeed on the Web when so many small businesses are struggling to stay afloat.

Our MMP community continues to be met with growing enthusiasm and recognition. From seasoned business owners to work-at-home moms to crafters looking for inspiration, we have something for everyone! Our success over the past six years has inspired expectations of even greater growth and success among our members. Despite the economic climate this past year, our members were able to keep their heads above water in hopes of a bright, new, and successful year in 2010.

In honor of small businesses everywhere, we are determined to make membership more attainable through lowering our fee structure for 2010. Now every small business can afford to be a part of the Make Mine Pink network. You don’t have to have a website to open a boutique at Make Mine Pink. MMP offers the ability to sell unlimited products directly from your own seller’s page for a small monthly fee – no hidden costs, no final value fees.  * Fees will increase July 15th, but will still reflect discounted rates through out the remainder of 2010.

What makes Make Mine Pink different than the rest? I think if you were to ask any of our members, they would tell you that we care as much about their success as we do our own. We are professional, always offering state of the art programming with excellent shopper-friendly navigation. Most networking sites do not offer the ability to sell products directly from their site. MMP has technology that allows each member to sell unlimited products without a listing or final value fee.
You may not know this, but Make Mine Pink is a pioneer in online shopping and networking. We are highly visible and respected for our services to women in business for the past 6+ years. Founder, Joyce Lucas, was honored by Country Living in 2008 as one of the Women Entrepreneurs of the year for her work with women in business. 2010 Marketing/Advertising Agenda*

We will market through:

  1. Advertising placements in various, national home and decorating magazines to attain our goal to broaden MMP’s target audience in 2010.
  2. Monthly marketing campaigns: we’ll be marketing MMP and the businesses within MMP in new and exciting ways. This past year, we held a weekly marketing campaign called PINK FRIDAY. It’s a themed shopping event geared towards gaining more exposure and business for the members of MMP. We have also programmed and implemented the capability to run successful shop hop campaigns — again, another innovative way to drive traffic to our members’ sites.
  3. Scheduled MMP promotions such as holiday events and our successful newsletter. We will also be continuing and expanding our Boutique in the Spotlight feature on the top navigation of each MMP page. We’re looking at new and exciting ways to bring even more exposure to the boutiques on MMP.
  4. Pink Twilight Sales, held every third Saturday of the month, allow boutique owners to move merchandise out and shoppers to obtain great bargains. The sale is automated, allowing boutique owners to set up at their leisure.
  5. Newsletters, blog features, and social networking sites: members will be promoted on a rotational basis.
  6. Make Mine Pink Mini-Retreats: the focus will be on smaller team-building events with practical workshops for small business owners. Our first mini-retreat, May 31st – June 5th, was a huge success.
  7. Educational Webinars geared towards women in business, presented by experts in various aspects of business and marketing.

Front Page Boutiques - No openings available.

This level has been a coveted level of membership due to the added exposure and benefits of being on the home page of MMP. This year, we’ll be offering a brand new pricing schedule to help small businesses get back on their feet after the changes in the economic climate. We’re here, we’re standing strong, and we want to help you build your business in 2010.

One of the first steps in being considered for Front Page membership in 2010 will be your involvement in the Make Mine Pink community. All front page members are looked upon as leaders and will be asked from time to time to participate in various aspects of the Make Mine Pink community. Please join the forum and introduce yourself. E-mail info@makeminepink.com for Front Page availability. This level of membership is limited.

  1. Membership includes the opportunity to participate in exclusive, low-cost, Front Page co-op advertising opportunities, further increasing exposure for your business.

Members must have a PayPal account to accept payments directly from their Make Mine Pink storefront. MMP does not charge listing fees or percentage of sales.

This level of membership offers the ability to offer products for sale directly from the seller’s page on Make Mine Pink as well as link to your own website, eBay store, or Etsy store. Member must have a PayPal account to accept payments directly from their Make Mine Pink storefront. MMP does not charge listing fees or percentage of sales.

  1. No website required to open a boutique on Make Mine Pink.
  2. Membership includes the ability to list unlimited products for sale in your Little Pink Boutique without listing fees or final value fees. *NEW*
  3. Create categories to organize products within your boutique *NEW*
  4. Product tags will be displayed for each product. *NEW*
